Frogs in Duckweed...

These shots are similar to the one I posted on Monday but these were taken at a different time. The water was shallow and the frogs were in the middle of a small pool but there were rocks sticking out of the water. To get eye level with the frogs I had a knee on one rock and the other knee on a different rock and my elbows doing the same. It was precarious, one slip and I would've gotten wet, but I think the photos were worth it.

John, What wonderful frog studies, and that tiny spider as well. I absolutely adore the little frog on the pussy willow. I really miss a macro lens, tried to get one last week - no go. They had an adeptor though that would have cost twice as much as the camera!
I too love capturing the minutiae of nature. Not sure which way to jump.

Look forward to your skywatch photos.

Yes the photos are well worth the effort! I think this must be how my step-mom in Melborune Florida feels right now!!! Thanks John!

I can see you some... knees on rocks arms all over the place... Good thing you did not fall in. Great catch

The photos were definitely worth it, and I, for one, thank you. But I'm not sure I would have been so brave!

Too bad Mike wasn't with you...I want to see a photo of you taking the photos! Sounds really amusing. Great shots for all that effort!

Love these two frog shots! I have one very similar....but have never been able to duplicate it. And I was lucky that I didn't have to balance myself like you did...sheesh...you really go a long way to get a great shot. And we are so glad you do :)
