Ferns and Flow....

I don't care how many times I go back to Sabattus River I always find something new to photograph. I actually found these ferns yesterday afternoon but the lighting was not good so I went back this morning, I knew they would be in the shade.

That's a calendar shot! Lovely! I recognize the falls from other posts you have done from there, but the ferns are definitely the star of the photo!

That is definitely something you need to click on to make larger. It's a beautiful shot.

That is a brilliant 'Slow Shutter' shot John.

What makes this photo so special is that although that you have a long exposure, the ferns are sharp.

Beautiful fern. Wow! I'm glad you pointed it out. I would have been so wrapped up in that waterfall I would have completely overlooked it. Beautiful!

Real nice John. Dunno how I missed this one.
Looks like you used a long esposure time to freeze the water like that.

Lovely photographs! Made me happy to see the nature captured so beautifully.
I especially loved the Ruby Throat humming bird and the chipmunk pics.

It amazes me how you manage to take pics in such low temperatures! I feel like hibernating during winter :-)
