Not Just Lupines....

I photographed lupines last week but that's not the only thing I took pictures of in the area. The bird life was crazy so I'm glad I brought my long lens with me. These are the first cedar waxwings I've ever photographed and they let me get pretty close, there was a whole flock.

Nice! There seems to be bazillions of Cedar Waxwings around this year. They are among my favorite to photograph because they are so laid back.

That was a pretty good shot of the lupines. How close were you to the bird when you took those pictures?

Beautiful! Your photos are great. I'm so glad you got to see and photograph them. I find that when they are busy eating, they don't seem to mind having you get pretty close to them. I actually pull up a chair...if I have one...and just sit there and shoot.
