Finally, Some Melting....


We finally had temperatures in the 50's yesterday and the snow took a beat down. There is still plenty on the ground and we're supposed to get a snow storm this weekend but at least we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. On the south side of the house, against the foundation, I noticed my chives popping out of the ground yesterday.

I know what you mean, it is time for spring and I think with the winter we have, we'll be ready for it! Great photo.

Isn't it funny how giddy a little running water can make us? I saw a little rivulet in our gravel road and just about jumped up and down!

Doesn't 50 feel like a heat wave after this winter? Great photo. We had 60s this week but snow today. :(
