Little Whaleboat Island...

Last weekend Mike Brousseau (Maine Through The Lens) posted photos from a kayaking trip we took to Little Whaleboat Island in Harpswell. Today I'm posting some of my photos from the same trip, it's an example of how you can have two photographers taking pictures of the same thing but they come away with different pictures.

BEAUTIFUL SHOTS JOHN!!

I love seeing these trip pictures! I really love the daisy shot (of course) you must have had a very tiny aperture to get that depth-of-field. Tell us more, did you use your tripod as well?

Oh, how nice. I don't know that island. Is it part of the Maine Island Trail Network? I've always wanted to paddle that!

John, I love the photo of the cormorant in flight! All the others are great as usual. They are "story" photos and I love that. I think I need a kayak but where would I use it here in the desert! The water looks so refreshing!

You never fail to blow me away with your pictures, from the first day I visited your site. These are terrific pictures, John. It's nice to see that spring has arrived where you live, and now the kayaking fun begins again.
