

The other day was a yellow theme, today it's purple and blue so here are some more lupine photos. The lupine season is almost over here in Maine.Photography featuring Maine's various natural habitat and wildlife; from the rocky coast to the inland rivers, lakes and mountains.

John these photos are beautiful. I was totally wrong on the yellow(oops) that's what I get for guessing flowers... not my strong point obviously.. the bird was an adult perigrine Falcon..
I really like the lupines. So beautiful. They always make me think of the children's book "Miss Rumphius" about the lady that scatters lupines everywhere to help beautify her environment. They truly are beautiful flowers and you are lucky to see so many!
The Lupines are just beautiful John! I have some new ones in my garden...will have to wait until next year to enjoy them.
