Spreading Dogbane....

Originally I was just going to have this roadside wildflower series this week but I ended up taking so many photos that I'm going to continue it into next week. I love this time of year, it seems every time you turn around there is something new to photograph. In some cases I had only a few blossoms to take a photograph of, I found only one blue eyed grass. With this dogbane there were thousands and thousands of blossoms, I wandered around looking for a nice clump in a pleasing composition. At the end of the series I'll give some tips on how I took the pictures and what techniques I used.

Morning John! I have all the wild ones you've posted until this one! It's lovely and your photos are all just stunning. My blue-eyed grass is prolific right now.
I'm glad you're continuing the series!

Good move to keep going! Not only is what you show beautiful, we also learn what it actually is! :)
So keep 'em coming!
Cheers, Klaus

Oh, this is a different flower. I don't think I've seen this one before. It's a beautiful picture, John. I'm glad you're going to continue with the series. It's interesting and fun. I like your idea of giving some pointers, too.
Have a great day!
