Spring Violet....

I took this photo Monday morning along the bank of the river. There was no dew but this one water droplet was clinging on the end of the blade of grass right next to the violet.

On a separate note, I haven't seen the chickadees that were going to nest in my nest box for a few days. Yesterday I noticed an eye pearing out at me from inside the box and it looked bigger than a chickadee eye, it turned out to be a red squirrel. I guess it drove out the chickadees and decided to take it over.

Beautiful picture, John! I love the little droplet. Great composition.

Too bad about the nesting chickadees. If the squirrel sticks around, maybe it will nest there and you'll have fun watching baby squirrels instead. I've never seen a baby red squirrel before.

What a beautiful picture - I love violets.
Oh, I hate that your chickadees are gone.

That droplet looks like a tiny diamond. Beautiful violet. I'm sorry for the chickadees, but I'm sure the squirrels will be cute, too. Maybe the chickadees need a box with a smaller hole :-)

If life closes a door - it opens another - so Red Squirrel Babies would be something noteworthy, too!
Gorgeous Violet shot, too!

gsvppbAh.. this pure violet color..
I still don't know what to do with my camera to make it capture the original violet color instead of deep blue as it usually does. Perhaps you can give me some advice?..
