Queen Anne's Lace....

The queen anne's lace are everywhere this time of year, they're on the side of the road in the country as well as in town where ever there's an area that doesn't get mowed. The purple in the background in the second photo is natural and I'll have more on that on tomorrows post.

Beautiful - it deserves the name, too! We have them here in FL as well - actually I think I took a photo of it yesterday!

Beautiful photos! I think that such a lovely "weed" deserves it's elegant name....very queenly, very lacy. The purple sets it off nicely...will look forward to finding out what it is.

Could you send some to me? Probably miss this lovely flower more than any other. (I never viewed it as a weed. Much too delicate!)

Can hardly wait to see what the purple is!

OHHH John I missed this earlier! I really do admire the Queen Anne's Lace...I am always amazed by that little dark flower in the center! And they smell great when you yank them out of the garden...(did I say that!!!)....they are in the carrot family and always make me hungry for a salad!!! The pictures are perfect!!!
