Another Tufted Titmouse....

Here's another photo I took on Tuesday, I have two titmice that visit my feeder. They are extremely shy compared to the chickadees and nuthatches but I got lucky when this one landed on the end of the broken branch within photo range. I'm hoping the two are a male and female and they'll end up nesting in the backyard, I'll have to put up more nest boxes to get them to do so.

I love the the Titmouse and your capture is exquisite!

We have six visiting our feeders and had at least 2 breeding pair last year. They brough their young to the feeders, the little ones flapping their wings and squawking for food when the adults were eating.

Great shot! I hope they stay! Titmice are so cute and usually not too shy when they get used to a place. They do flit about so much that I have trouble getting photos as nice as this one :-) About the time I focus, they move.

Great shot, indeed. Do the chickadees bully the titmice?

Very lucky indeed. These little guys are afraid of their own shadow. I hope they do nest in you yard. They do make good neighbors.
