Brown Creeper...

I was out in the yard photographing on Monday when this guy showed up. It's a first for me, I've never seen a brown creeper before and boy was it fast, I thought the nuthatches moved quick. I was only able to take one photograph before it disappeared.

Only one, but a great one - such a cutie! And your fluffy bluejay is beautiful.

Yah, if you think nuthatches are tough! Getting a Brown Creeper to give a pose like this was once thought to be impossible! That is until I saw this.

Good to see you awakened from hibernation and posting again. The tiniest birds are often the hardest to catch, they are constantly on the move. Congrats. on gettin one good shot in.

Wow...what a great shot! I've never seen them from the front. The rare one that shows up here is always running up and down the tree with its back to me. Good to see what they really look like!

Congrats on getting this little fella John.
These have eluded me all season.
A friend of mine found three just south of us though in Regina a few days ago.
