I got up early yesterday to photograph lupines but I got side tracked by something else, this is one of the photos I took. Later in the week I'll post what distracted me.

Another nice wildflower shot John. I'm intregued as to what side-tracked you..?
I have no dewy daisys on my new propery John...however I do have a Mimosa tree down the driveway...I must go get pictures of that!
John- We have plenty of Asian Milfoil in Ohio- It's so bad we're not worried about it- It is probably in every Lake and reservoir. Up where you are, you have much more to loose than we do in Ohio. Megan, my wife, who grew up in Maine, scoffs at our concrete ponds and reservoirs that people fish in here. I took pictures of some of the milfoil and boat washing stations near Bridgton last summer.
You also have the nasty inasive Phragmites in Maine. I've seen it in ditches along the turnpike between Portland and the Gray exit, also around the wetlands near the Portland jetport.
Early morning is a great time to photography flowers, I need to do it more often. Thanks for the camera/lens info about the hummer shots. I'd like to buy some Canon L glass, right now it's between the 100-400 and the 400 5.6.

Very beautiful snap.
I love the daisy's at this time of year. They are just so summery. I love lupines also. I can never get used to them growing wild like they do here.
you gotta love distractions...!
Okay John, we'll be waiting. It's great to see the daisies again.
