The Colors Were Stunning....

This photo was taken during the weekend I spent van camping last month. As I mentioned in my previous post I shot plenty of video including photographing this waterfall, Moxie Falls. The ten minute video can be seen here on Youtube by clicking this link: Autumn Van Camping.

It's Not Always About the Grand Landscape...

I recently spent a weekend camping in the West Forks area during the peak autumn leaf color. Everywhere you looked the bright hues were over whelming. Here are a couple images I took on my final day, it was misty and damp so I decided to take more intimate photos. I also shot a lot of video and a post on Youtube will be following shortly.

Miss Angie II.....

Here's another boat photo from the coastal trip I took earlier this summer. These boats were in Lubec and like the other posts from this trip I also uploaded a video to Youtube that can be seen by clicking this link: Coastal Trip pt. 3.

Here's another image from the coastal trip I took earlier this summer. It was taken in Stonington, Maine at sunset. As I've mentioned before, I took a lot of video of the trip and I even filmed the sequence where I took this photo. You can check out the whole video here on Youtube.

Here's another photo from the multi-day road trip up the coast of Maine I recently took with my friend Mike, photography being our main purpose. The lighting during the day was very harsh and contrasty which makes photography tricky but a lot of times an image will look good in black and white under these conditions. That's what I opted for with this photo. This is Grindstone Point in Winter Harbor. At the time we didn't know where we were but I looked it up after the fact. The hill in the distance is Acadia National Park. I also shot a lot of video and if interested you can check it out here: on Youtube

Aurora...?

I went out last night attempting to photograph the northern lights and this is what I got. I couldn't see anything with the naked eye but the camera picked up those light colored swirls in the upper right. They could be clouds for all I know, but at least I got a shooting star in the center. Fort Kent in far northern Maine would've been the place to be to get some good images.

Cold Stream Falls....

I recently spent a weekend hiking and camping in my van in West Forks, Maine. It was the new moon weekend and the objective was to do some astrophotography but unfortunately the clouds moved in making that a no go. I was with my friend Mike and we ended up climbing Coburn Mt. and hiking into Cold Stream Falls, which you see in the photo above. I also shot a video while I was there and it can be seen on Youtube by clicking here.
