This past weekend I went on a backpacking trip to Moxie Bald Mountain in northern Maine. I've done plenty of hiking but this was my first overnighter. The original intent was to spend the night in a tent and do some astrophotography, unfortunately clouds moved in and prevented clear skies so photographing the Milky Way didn't happen. The first photo in this series was taken from atop Moxie Bald when I first got to the summit. The second photo is from the top of North Peak the following morning, the lake in the distance is Moxie Pond. Photo number three was also taken from North Peak looking back at Moxie Bald Mountain. One unexpected surprise was the abundant blueberries on the top of both mountains, especially the North Peak. All photos taken with my phone.
