Here's a photo I took a few years ago. It may be a popular bird with the tourists but its not an easy one to photograph because they only nest on a few islands out at sea. Preening Puffin....

Great shot. My brother lives north of Acadia on the shore and has a boat, and has been lucky enough to see the puffins. I would like to get out on the water and hopefully see some of these birds.
