I took this photo last Thursday. I should've used my polarizing filter to get rid of the glare on the leaf but it was a real dim day and a polarizer cuts the light so I was afraid the shutter speed would be too slow and would cause a blurry picture.
Photography featuring Maine's various natural habitat and wildlife; from the rocky coast to the inland rivers, lakes and mountains.

I do belive you did a great job :-)
Love it just the way it is!
The shiny leaf is beautiful.
I think the "glare" adds to the photo and shows it's wetness and real nature. Love the drop!
A beautiful shot John. With our rain, it is a good time to get these shots too as I did over the weekend and will post them soon. It seems like you are having a lot of rain too.
I LOVE it! I'm a huge leaf lover and I love how you've captured the water drop!
I think it's great just the way it is. :-)
BEAUTIFUL!! what a wonderful shot. frozen in time..
Incredible, must be gorgeous up there at this time of the year. They say it is the peak weekend for viewing in the Shenandoahs. We are going to take a trip up there this weekend, probably with a few other thousand folks ;)
