Jack Frost Nipping the Air....

Friday morning it was clear and cold and there was a heavy frost outside so I had to get out there and take some photos. The sun was shining through some trees behind this leaf and one beam was highlighting the frost making the edges glow. On mornings like this you have to move quickly because once the sun hits the frost it melts.

I am glad you managed to catch the frost still on this one John. Beautiful image.

That is great with the frost. You work very hard at your art and it shows! I see you've moved from the kayak back into your winter clothing for your portrait :-)

Looks like you definitely acted fast enough - that's beautiful.

Great image! We had a cold morning in Florida, too! 39°F - which is like -20 for you! ;)
Cheers, Klaus

Just like music, the simplest seeming passages are hardest to play. You certainly caught the light, while capturing a great composition as well.
