We've been getting a lot of rain lately, the sun is out right now but more rain is on the way later today. It rained Thursday night but it had stopped by Friday morning so I went out and photographed the droplet covered pussywillows. The yellowish background is actually dead grass that was on the ground. When you enlarged the photo you'll notice a squarish, bright spot on the dark area on the underside of the pussywillow. That's a reflection of my foil fill card adding light.

WOW....catching the rain drops on the pussy willow is awesome! Great shot! Such patience you have! It's been rainy here a lot, too.
Really stunning John!
Superb!
So a sign of spring at last John.
This is a great shot... I really like how the pussywillow really jumps out from the brown background.
Beautiful as always. you capture nature so wonderfully! thanks John.. still have not done the foil trick.. (mind is working...can't wait for the flowers here to try this year)
Awesome capture of the droplets John! Beautiful scene.
Rain, rain, rain... will it ever end?
to see the world in a grain of sand (as Blake said), or, in this case, in a drop of water
This photo John is a sheer delight!
I LOVE this shot. It's so clear and the water drops are fantastic! Elegant and beautiful in its simplicity.
