Camouflage....?

This crab spider stuck out like a sore thumb on this vetch. They can actually change color from yellow to white. I've seen them on daiseys where they blend in perfectly in their white form and when they're yellow they blend in on a black eyed susan. I guess this guy was color blind.
The blue pansy photo from yesterday was shot on film.

Beautiful image and an interesting post, too. I've never heard of or seen one of these spiders. Thanks for sharing.

I love these guys! I've got many pictures of them also, most of which are white and pink usually on a queen annes lace. I think it's funny this one is a little confused!

I was the only one to get the guess wrong yesterday!!! Woops!!

LOL, I was thinking the same thing. Made a Beautiful photograph anyhow.
About yesterdays post. I think that digital turns out clearer on pc because the photo looses a bit in scanning (film) don't know that I wonder if we could still tell any difference once the digital is printed out.

What an amazing contrast and interesting information! Do you think it knows that purple and yellow are complimentary colors?? It's an artist spider :-)
