No Abstract Today....

Here's a close up photo of a honeysuckle blossom that I have growing in my front yard. They're considered an invasive species but I do like the sweet smell of the blossoms when they're blooming. The birds like to feed on the berries in late summer and fall.

This is so pretty. I also enjoy the fragrance of honeysuckle.

Morning John!
I love the honeysuckle...I know they are invasive too and I have a few out there but I would rather have more of them than the buckthorn and hawthorn that have overrun my property!! I'm getting a honeysuckle vine for my garden this year...hoping the hummingbirds will enjoy them too!
Enjoy your day!!

What a nice picture, John. I like honeysuckles' smell too, although we don't have any here.

Beautiful closeup! I have to fight the honeysuckle that winds in and out of my bushes all the time, but it does have a wonderful fragrance.
