I took this photo in my backyard on Sunday and I don't know what kind of bug that is. I didn't feel like looking it up, I'm sure someone out there knows what it is.

Ha Ha!! That's one of those bugs I hate John...I'll take a spider over that thing any day! I have no idea what it is....maybe I'll get a wild hair and look it up but I don't feel much like it either!!! Ha Ha!!

I am not sure but it is an interesting bug.
It's a funny looking bug, whatever it is! the goldenrod is beautiful...together a lovely shot!
Nice pic John. It looks like a Crane Fly. Do some Googling and see if it matches ..
Your goldenrod is hanging in well. Have you had these frosts the past week or so? Ours have made just about all the foliage (except for the maples) pretty drab.
