The nuthatches are a lot quicker than the chickadees but yesterday one stayed still long enough for me to get a decent picture.

Yes, nuthatches can be a difficult shot. This is such a great pose for this little nuthatch.
I have only ever encountered one of these with my camera, and your absolutly correct..they are VERY fast and hard to photograph.. Great job.. you did fantastic.
