I took this photo about an hour ago. Despite the snow and cold, it was snowing while I took this picture, these pussywillows prove that winter is slowly loosening it's grip here in Maine.

Great shot of the snow on the top.
I'll have to go look at my willows today...through the blowing and cold snow!
I love the closeup you were able to get to that.
I am so glad to see spring is showing its signs in Maine too! Just a few more weeks and hopefully some of this awful cold will be gone.
Even with snow on it, that pussywillow looks very hopeful!
That's a cool photo John. It certainly gives us a Spring is coming feel .
Oh yeah Bring on Spring! Thanks for the comment, I been thinking of discontinuing my blogger, but i just set it up. Will see how it goes here.
Yes John its great to see the pussywillows at last
Pussy willows always amaze me. I love the bottom one, curling like a squirrel's tail.
Oh pussywillows.. oh Spring! It's one of the beautiful things about spring to see trees wake up and grow their first buds..
I can't wait for the first buds in my area.
Love it! love the snow piled up on top... what a wonderful sign..
You've had a rough winter, haven't you. Thank goodness it's letting up a little. Love all your birds!
Thanks for sharing information with us..
